Knee type opening
This appealing sun shading device features neither standard size nor standard installation schemes and it is custom-designed according to customers’ individual requirements. With its rigorous, clean lines, it integrates perfectly with the environment, and offers a choice of different coverings and materials. It consists of two automated elements with upper horizontal axis folding. Hot-dip galvanised and painted metal frame, covered in wood/aluminium/glass. The movement takes place via nylon belts (top version) placed on the sides, controlled by an electric motor installed inside the building in the special box with inspection door.
Transmission occurs through steel shafts, self-lubricating cardan joints and oil bath lubricated articulated joints.
Number of engine revolutions, start and end of stroke, speed and safety during the movement are controlled and guaranteed by micro sensors that interact with the functioning of the motor and allow movement in home automation or with remote control (top version). All mechanical parts have electro-galvanized treatment. For the installation of the this knee type opening there must be a 220 V power supply controlled by a switch on the wall.
Sliding brise soleil
Sliding brise soleil can be adjusted for different widths and external surfaces. Louvers can be either fixed or adjustable. They are inserted into fixed or sliding frames providing different aesthetic effects.
Wide possibilities of customisation:
- choice of materials, ranging from aluminium to different types of wood.
- range of standard RAL colours and special colours upon request.
Thanks to these characteristics the brise soleil integrate with the building facades on which they are installed.
Brise soleil with cord
This product is specifically designed for outdoor. It is made up of pre-painted aluminium louvers 94 mm wide. The cold-formed louvers have a gasket that muffles noise while improving the darkening effect of the blind. At their ends there are high resistance aluminium alloy sliding pegs.
All the louvers are connected to each other by a guiding device formed by a carbon fibre wires braid. The wires are fixed to the louvers by stainless steel staples folded inside the slat. The base of the packet of slats is made by a terminal profile of extruded aluminium which is anodized or painted in the same colour as the slats. The lateral tracks are made of extruded aluminium with dimensions 22×24 mm, which is anodized or painted with polyester powder paint in the same colour as the slats.

Aluminium brise soleil
These brise soleil are made with aluminium-magnesium alloy slats, pre-lacquered with scratchproof paint, 97 mm wide and 0.6 mm thick. They are edged on both sides and fitted with gaskets to prevent any noise. Each of them is fixed at the ends to the pivots of the tracks thanks to slat holders which are wind-resistant and invisible from the outside.
The self-supporting aluminium side rails can be natural coloured or painted. There are soundproofing and weatherproof inserts. The automatic lowering of the slats in the working position can be tilted choosing from 37°, 45° or 70° and can be stopped at any height. The brise soleil are electrically controlled through a single-phase synchronous 230 V – 50 Hz – IP44 motor inserted in the technical shutter box.
